New international students are being considered for an International Freshman Merit Scholarship at Iowa State University. The International Merit Scholarship is awarded to students who have demonstrated strong academic achievement, as well as outstanding talent or achievement in one or more of the following areas: mathematics and science, art, extracurricular activities, community service, leadership, innovation, or business.
